Feeding the Hungry was able to start a tutoring program in partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University as we saw a great need because of the inability of the parents being able to help their children with school work due to the language barrier. We have tutoring twice a week from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30p.m. and we had had success as many of the attendees had made the honor roll for the first time.

Workship: A Tradition of Service since 1968 at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Workship is a distinctive community service program that responds to human needs with Christ-like action in the community and the world. Through community service, students can discern their vocation and develop a life-long habit of servant leadership. To date, Palm Beach Atlantic students have volunteered more than 2.6 million hours.

PBA students typically are high-achievers with strong moral values and eagerness to learn while helping others. They are the sort of young people that we at Feeding the Hungry are proud to have working in our organization.
