Feeding the Hungry was able to start a English as a Second Language (ESOL) program in partnership with the Bridges Language Academy. Many of the residents of Casa del Monte are native Spanish speakers and by closing the language gap they will be better integrated into the community at large. This also opens up many new opportunities for them such as jobs.
The English classes are provided by David Chavez’s Bridges Language Academy through a number of certified ESOL teachers. They have partnered with us to help those in need because they care about the local community as well.
